About—Free From Gravity

A feature of Plain Truth Ministries and Free From Gravity

Gravity has its way with you and me everyday. Gravity is heavy, forceful, inescapable. Religious gravity holds us down as well—it attempts to prevent us from the freedom that comes from grace. In the spiritual realm, grace is anti-gravity. Grace is non-terrestrial —it’s out of this world! Welcome to Free From Gravity—freedom from what holds us down.

Free From Gravity virtuoso, Paul Angone, is a writer, speaker, humorist, host of All Groan Up and avid old-school-Nintendo-player. He studied at Westmont College in Communications Studies and recently obtained his Master’s in Organizational Leadership at Azusa Pacific University.

Paul is releasing his first book June 1st, 2011 titled: Are You My Life?: Searching for Self, Faith, and a Freaking Job!

When he is not writing, he is spending time with his beautiful wife Naomi and their new baby girl.

    Paul,
Fellow guinea pig lover here (we have 7) and fellow wader of yellowish water in the kiddie pool. LOVE your blog, loved Uncle God! Very refreshing and real. Thanks!

@Andrea – Thanks for stopping by and humbly standing with me in a) affinity for guinea pigs and b) admitting that sometimes we slap around in yellow water instead of REALLY swimming. Why is it so hard to say no to plastic floaties and yes to jumping in?

Hi, I just ran across this site through Plain Truth. I have just become acquainted with the song Dyfying Gravity through my music lessons and wonder if this is a Christian take off from Wicked. To me the song sounds like a rebellious threat and your blog sounds like soaring toward the love of God. Which came first?

Hi Ramona! Thanks for stopping by Free From Gravity and checking out the many resources we offer. I’ve never seen Wicked or heard the song, so I would definitely say I came up with the name to represent the freedom of “soaring towards God’s love”. Hope to see you soaring with us!
